Aliénor Massenet is a renowned French perfumer with Hungarian roots. She grew up in a family of artists and scientists, which predisposed her to a career in perfumery. Massenet began her training at age 18 with Monique Schlienger at Cinquième Sens while studying art history. Her career was further propelled by working with American perfumer Sophia Grosjman. Massenet is known for creating accessible yet contrasting fragrances that are both abstract and emotional. She has created numerous successful fragrances, including the first Memo Paris fragrance, Lalibela, in 2008, and Irish Leather in 2014. Massenet has also worked on fragrances for brands like Liz Earle and Chloé. Her style is characterized by solar talent and a mastery of contrasts, often drawing inspiration from travel and exploration.
