Daniel Josier is a Spanish perfumer born in 1971. His passion for fragrances began in childhood, inspired by his mother's favorite perfume. Josier studied at the Institut Supérieur International du Parfum in Paris, graduating in 1997. He had the privilege of working under and being mentored by Jean-Claude Ellena for six years, which greatly influenced his artistic approach to perfumery. In 2009, Josier founded his own perfume laboratory, L'Atelier del Perfume, and later launched his eponymous brand in 2014. His style is characterized by the use of high-quality raw materials and a focus on creating unconventional, expressive fragrances. Sandalwood is a signature note in many of his creations. Josier's most successful fragrances include Ambre Tabac and Green Leather, with the latter becoming his best-selling perfume. He has also collaborated with other niche brands, such as Aller Perfumes and Comporta Perfumes, showcasing his versatility as a perfumer.
