Honorine Blanc

Honorine Blanc is a master perfumer at dsm-firmenich, known for her innovative and unconventional approach to fragrance creation. Born in Beirut, Lebanon, she later studied in Paris before moving to New York to be mentored by master perfumer Sophia Grojsman. Blanc's style is characterized by her pursuit of 'imperfect and addictive' scents, filled with new ideas, tensions, and emotions. She draws inspiration from nature, books, and art, particularly the Mediterranean. Blanc has created fragrances for iconic brands such as Gucci, Valentino, and YSL. Her notable works include YSL's Black Opium, Juicy Couture's Viva La Juicy Noir, and Estée Lauder's Amber Mystique. Blanc's philosophy revolves around liberating herself from rules to explore new creative territories in perfumery.
