His career has spanned over three decades, during which he lived in Paris, Geneva, and New York. Ermenidis is known for his love of transparent and Mediterranean-style notes, and his ability to create abstract olfactive forms. He has a particular affinity for Ambrox, which he considers 'the sexiest molecule alive'. Some of his notable creations include Byblos (1990), Givenchy Pour Homme (2002), Gucci by Gucci (2007), and Kayali Invite Only Amber 23 (2021).
