Jorge Lee

Jorge Lee is a Colombian-born, British-naturalized perfumer with over 25 years of industry experience. He began his career in 1995 after studying economics at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá. Lee has worked for major fragrance companies including Givaudan and Quest International before joining MG International Fragrance Company in 2013, where he was promoted to Senior Chief Perfumer in 2018. His creations include fragrances for well-known brands such as Axe and Clear Shampoos. Lee is known for incorporating Colombian fruit notes into his perfumes, drawing inspiration from his grandmother's cooking and his homeland's tropical fruits. His style blends traditional perfumery with innovative, exotic elements. Lee primarily formulates for alcoholic, fabric, and personal care applications, with a particular fondness for deodorants and bar soaps.
